1 year has gone by so fast!
I started my Twitch channel one year ago, not knowing what i was getting myself into, and i fell head over heels in love with the platform, with the people, and i fell in love all over again with gaming.
As a young girl, i grew up with Tomb Raider, Crash bandicoot and Spyro the purple flying dragon.
But as i got older, my taste in gaming started to become more shooters and fps, i was playing a litle bit with my brother and he's friends, it was a lot of fun. It all wen't from Unreal Tournament to Quake live (always with the love of Lara Croft in my heart off course)

As the years pass by, i lost the love for gaming. Life happend, love, breakups, work, i invested my time else where. You know the drill. PC broke down but as i didn't need it for gaming, i just didn't care to buy a new one.
And so the hobby died.

Years later, I started to get a huge interest in social media, it fascinated me, it combined my interest in make up, styling, creating, photoshooting, cosplay, friends - everything.
But. after years and years of making photos and posting them on the gram...There was just something missing. I felt like a shell, just a face without personality.

After seeing others start their Twitch platforms, i built up the curage (it took me probably a year) and then i went for it with all i got.
Seeing OBS for the first time i was ready to give up, but i've been trying to learn as much as i can about streaming, computers, entertainement, sound, overlays, alerts, speaking better english and try not to be so goddamn introverted..... and much more - it has been very challenging but....
(there's alway's a but right..?)
...It has been the most fun thing i ever tried and the pieces of my puzzle that i was missing is now there.
I have a streaming schedule (i'm live every wednesday), a Discord to go hand in hand with my Twitch and least but not last, the community. It's easier to get a connection on Twitch than anywhere else, because, to talk directly, have fun and hang out with your followers in the moment it is something totally different than just posting a photo.

If you are reading this and you have thoughts about starting your own Twitch channel, do it. What are you waiting for?
